# Individual plan (legacy)

> plan, this page describes your subscription.

Each Individual size sets one shared capacity of vCPU and RAM for all of your
VMs:

| Small | 2 vCPU · 8 GB | 100 GB | $20/mo |
| Medium | 4 vCPU · 16 GB | 200 GB | $40/mo |
| Large | 8 vCPU · 32 GB | 400 GB | $80/mo |
| XLarge | 16 vCPU · 64 GB | 800 GB | $160/mo |

Every size includes 200 GB of outbound bandwidth, up to 50 VMs, and a
$20/month Shelley credit. The disk and bandwidth allowance belongs to your
account. See [Usage](/docs/billing/usage) for how usage beyond it is
measured. Individual plans do not include standalone VMs.

## Changing capacity

You can keep using your Individual plan and move between its sizes with
`billing capacity` or at [exe.dev/billing](https://exe.dev/billing). You can
also move to [Personal](/docs/billing/personal) there. Personal does not
include a monthly Shelley credit.

Changes take effect immediately and are prorated for the rest of the billing
cycle:

- Moving to a more expensive size charges the prorated difference
  immediately.
- Moving to a less expensive size credits the prorated difference to your
  account, and the credit is applied to future invoices.
